A new boutique product aimed at the “Vikings” demographic was required.
The challenge was create an identity & concept for the product along with die line packaging for the item. This was then to be roled out further to expand on the brand concept.
The demographic I aimed the products at were ‘Urban Vikings’. I chose to design a range of sauces and marinades. I created the story of Henrik, an East London designer with danish heritage who crafted home-made sauces. I used his identity to create a strong handwriting for the range. His impressive beard became a strong feature of the sauce packaging. I was inspired by danish design for the colour palette and the flat style of illustration design.
I then roled out the concept into a delicatessen concept, designing a range of food packaging.
